Pleasant Harbor is formed by the west shore of Black Point and the mainland and is connected to Hood Canal by a narrow channel at the harbor's north end. Pleasant Harbor is an all-weather, deep-water harbor, which is already relatively developed with:

• Two marinas (total of 384 slips)
• Two separate public docks (one pictured here) and access points
• A public boat ramp
• Approximately ten private docks
