Write to the newspapers:

Write to the county commissioners:

• David Sullivan
• John Austin
• Phil Johnson
• Al Scalf - Jefferson County Planning Commission

Topics you might use:

• How does Statesman plan to involve the community in the planning and implementation of the plan? 
• What assumptions are being made about water use and water availability in the environmental impact statements and in the water rights applications?
• What development would you like to see on Black Point?
• What exactly will be the changes to Black Point?  How much earth will be moved?  What will happen to the kettles?  What will happen to the trees?
• What oversight will the county provide to see that Statesman lives up to its promises?
• What jobs will be available?  What are the salaary ranges?  Benefits?
• What "green" technology will be used?  Is there any experience with this technology that indicates it will work as hoped?
• What Memoranda of Agreement (MOUs) have been done?  Do they meet community needs?
• Are the assumptions about traffic accurate?  Are the counts complete (they don't seem to include motorcycle accidents or collisions with animals, for example)?
• Do the Statesman plans comply with county ordinances, such as the MPR ordinance or the critical areas ordinance?
